Quick fixes for the six most common problems

Work through the steps in order. Each one takes under a minute.

  • Buffering or freezing

    1. Restart your router at the wall, wait for the lights to settle, then restart the device.
    2. Switch the device to 5 GHz Wi-Fi, or better, plug in a network cable.
    3. Pause downloads, game updates and cloud backups on other devices.
    4. Still buffering? Run the five-minute network check and send us the result.
  • Login or "authorization" error

    1. Re-type your details exactly, checking for spaces at the end.
    2. Make sure your plan hasn't reached its end date.
    3. Close the app fully and reopen it.
  • Picture but no sound

    1. Check the TV isn't muted and the soundbar is on the right input.
    2. In the player app, open the audio track option and pick a different track.
    3. Set the device's audio output to Stereo or PCM, then try again.
  • Channel guide is blank

    1. Use the app's "refresh guide" or "update EPG" option.
    2. Set the device date and time to automatic.
    3. Leave the app open for a few minutes so the guide can download.
  • App crashes or closes

    1. Clear the app's cache in the device settings (not its data).
    2. Free up storage by removing apps you don't use.
    3. Update the app, then restart the device.
  • One channel won't play

    1. Try two or three other channels to check it's just that one.
    2. Wait a few minutes and try again; it may be a temporary issue.
    3. Tell us the channel name and the time so we can look into it.

What to include in your message

With these four details we can usually solve the problem in the first reply instead of the third.

  • Your device and model, for example "Fire TV Stick 4K" or "Samsung UN55TU7000".
  • The app you're using to watch.
  • What you see: a photo of the screen or error is worth a hundred words.
  • When it happens: all the time, at certain times, or on certain channels.

Questions

Support questions

How quickly will you reply?

Messages are answered in the order they arrive during support hours. Including your device, app and a photo of the problem helps us reply with a fix right away.

Is support included in my plan?

Yes. Setup help and troubleshooting are included with every plan at no extra cost, for as long as your plan is active.

Can I call you?

We support customers by WhatsApp message and email. Written messages let us send exact steps, settings and links you can follow at your own pace and refer back to later.

What if the problem is on your side?

Then we'll say so, tell you what's being done and update you when it's fixed. Most issues, though, turn out to be Wi-Fi or app settings, which is why we ask for details first.

How do I ask for a refund?

Email or message us with your order details and what went wrong. The full process is on our refund policy page.
